It would be great to be able to choose a folder where the agent is created via api instead of having to do it by hand

I am currently operating and maintaining multiple Botpress bots in parallel. As my system grows, I frequently develop new features, workflows, or functional logic that need to be reused across several bots. At the moment, this creates significant overhead. Whenever I implement a new workflow or improve an existing one, I have to manually recreate or reconfigure the same logic in each individual bot. Exporting and importing an entire bot is often not a viable solution, as I usually only want to reuse specific workflows or functional components. I would therefore strongly appreciate a feature that allows: - Exporting individual workflows (or workflow groups) instead of the full bot - Automatically including all related variables, configurations, and dependencies in the export - Importing those workflows into other bots in a clean and conflict-aware way - Reusing workflows across bots without manual duplication or reconfiguration Such a feature would significantly improve: - Developer productivity - Maintainability of multi-bot setups - Consistency of logic and behavior across bots - Overall interoperability within the Botpress ecosystem In practice, this would allow me to treat workflows as reusable building blocks or modules, rather than tightly coupled parts of a single bot. As a Botpress Plus user, I am actively building production systems on top of Botpress and would highly value this functionality as part of a more scalable, professional workflow. Thank you for considering this request, it would be a major improvement for advanced and professional Botpress use cases.

I think it would be helpful if certain members, such as botbassadors or partners, be able to be added to other peoples workspace for a limited time without adding a "Collaborator" ie It would be helpful if I could get added to other peoples bots that need help without them having to pay $25 to add a collaborator

Currently, the Botpress Webchat SDK lacks a formal way to completely tear down a chatbot instance once it has been initialized via window.botpress.init(). While we can hide the widget, there is no way to programmatically unmount the UI, remove all event listeners, and stop background processes without a full page reload. GDPR/CCPA Compliance: If a user revokes their cookie consent via a Consent Management Platform (CMP) during a session, we must be able to completely stop and remove the bot. Currently, the script remains active in memory, which is a compliance risk. Proposed Solution: - Removes the webchat iframe/container from the DOM. - Clears all internal intervals/timeouts and event listeners. - Wipes the global window.botpress state (or resets it to an uninitialized state) Thanks in advance and have a nice day!

Hi, I've been trying to get my bot to schedule reservations and appointments with Google calendar but Google's check availability doesn't seem to work and my bot isn't putting in the correct info or even ask for them. I recently saw Botpress's video on Google calendar integration and I followed it to set up my check availability, but for some reason it doesn't seem to work like in the video? I'm creating a directory bot that searches people and businesses, among other things, that are stored in tables. I've been using regex filters for this, but it would be amazing if there was a fuzzy filter so the search could still work even if the user made a typo. I know that I can use a fuzzy search in findTableRows, but that searches all columns instead of just the ones I want. Which is an issue because it will lower the similarity scores (like if someone searches for a name, the fuzzy search searches in the address field too, which is unlikely to have a match)

The WhatsApp integration doesn’t seem to handle messages of type order. The original payload is lost, so it’s not possible to trigger custom logic based on it. These timeouts exceed 100 seconds, stalling the bot's execution and causing 500 errors in the logs. Timeout Handling: If the typing indicator fails to stop, it should fail silently or with a much shorter timeout (e.g., 2-3 seconds) to prevent blocking the rest of the bot's logic. Opt-in vs. Opt-out: Change the default behavior so that typing indicators are opt-in, especially for high-volume WhatsApp bots where API overhead is a concern.

Hi! We should add a feature where u can choose a message that’s always preset in the webchat. Now we need to have a conversation trigger and it takes up to three seconds before the message is visible. This can lead to customers writing «hi» before the welcome message and in some cases the bot will get confused. This would also save time when making bots. Since now I have to make a node for: Conversation trigger Welcome message Returning_or_new (to check if the user is returning or is new) With a preset message I could eliminate all of these.

If we have WhatsApp integration, any update will only apply to new conversations. If a user has a critical error in a conversation, we won't be able to resolve it with an update, and we need the user to end the conversation and start a new one. Often, users can't end a conversation due to an error, and the timeout is set to 5 hours. We need the ability to end conversations for specific users or all users at once through the bot administrator, so that updates are applied immediately.

If a human logs into Meta for business and starts replying to a customer, these messages don't make it to BotPress. We need some sort of take over event so we can start ignoring messages.
