Currently, Botpress only provides the bot the ability to send a file to the user. What is needed is a capture card that allows for the user to input a file that can be parsed into the knowledge base or in the data tables. Frankly, i feel like adding the ability to add data tables without a more intuitive way to populate them makes that feature incomplete. If the bot can output files, it should be able to input files as well, and we should be able to parse using an execute code card.

This is critical to my usecase, is there any way to do this until botpress allows file upload? Unfortunately if i cant let users upload files this will prevent me from using botpress 😢

I think this feature is a MUST if Botpress wants to be the market leader! it is obvious that the assistants of the future will be multimodal

Of course! When you upload the file, index it and add it to your knowledge base and then use search knowledge base / query knowledge base cards within autonomous node / standard node respectively

i mean from the user interface if i try to upload an file
