The platform complies with all the data privacy laws, you can read more about it here: https://botpress.com/legal/data-processing-agreement. I believe the Cloud version utilises AWS. You can host the chatbot on your own server using V12, but it's significantly more complex to build and doesn't have as many nice features as the Cloud version.
