I am just installing my very first chatbot and just wanted to ask if it should be embedded  just on the homepage or in the footer so that it appears on sub pages. I would appreciate any guidance on this. Thanks Ray.

Hey <@920429835585716244>, you should add the script to the end of the <body> tag in your HTML. Are you using something like Wordpress?

Thanks <@632214138596229150>  yes I have a Wordpress site. Currently I have just added the chatbot to the homepage. I am not a developer and do not like playing around inside my website theme for fear of breaking the site.

Alright I get you, but rest assured that Botpress won't break your website!

Here are detailed steps to add the Pre-configures script to a Wordpress website:

1. Install and activate the **Insert Headers and Footers** plugin.
2. Go to **Settings** » **Insert Headers and Footers**.
3. Paste your JavaScript code into the **Scripts in Header** section.
4. Click on the **Save** button.
