Transition question for unknown answer

a. telling the user that we don't have an answer (if we don't have the answer in the knowledge base)
b. giving the answer + a. telling the user that we don't have an answer (if we have the answer in the knowledge base)
naturally, for the b. scenario, i would like to just give the answer. How can i do it?
