It depends, are you using the webpage or web search kb? For web search, Bing updates sporadicaly it's index, the larger the website the more often it will crawl your website, you can gain some control over the crawl using their webmaster tools. (same applies to google to a diferent degree) If you use the sitemap.xml, you could on a weekly basis update it and guarantee a recent crawl.
