Sometimes with botpress, I have a node that might ask for a Single Choice. I want them to choose one of those choices, and this will decide which next node to move to. But the thing I don't want them to do is to try to enter a question into the textbox on this node, since it is only meant to be a single choice. Is there a way that I can disable the textbox for them to type in a question on particular nodes?

I haven't seen an option. But what I have done to mitigate that is by asking the user: Please select Yes or No: in my personal testing and with others its helped them understand to pick a choice rather than type.

Unfrotunately you can't deactivate the chatbox at the moment. What I would do is hit the advanced configuration button, and hit

Retries

and

Cancellation

. Disable both options in

Cancelation

and set the number of retries to 999 or more in

Retries

and type a message you want to return when they pick the wrong choice, like "Please select the options provided! ". Good Luck man! 👍
