How to make the botpress ignore the next user's message. For example, conversation comes to the point where Chatbot sends a message "Ok, we will contact you" and then he ends the conversation. And when the user replies like "Thanks" or "Bye", Chatbot starts again. How to make botpress ignore it?
c
Hey @famous-holiday-92971 !
So you don't want the person to be able to reopen the conversation at all?
a
I wonder if @famous-holiday-92971 is sleeping now? 🥱 😆
f
Nah
No, I want the chatbot to ignore the last message of the user, and then end the conversation. So next time when the user types smth, the new conversation can be opened
@crooked-van-25152 can we go on DM?
t
Just normal text and say don´t respond to this message I guess 😄
f
You can use the single choice card as i believe it stops the bot until user makes a selection. but just have no selections?
or You can control when the bot answers easily but turning off KB answering on the node, enabling manual mode in the agent. Then design the bot however you want
very dramatic title O.O
c
Try using intention card and type thanks, and then connect it to end
b
@famous-holiday-92971 they don’t know what they’re talking about.
You just need to add a card called “wait for user input”. The bot will just be silent even if the user types something, you can add as many as you need
f
Yeah bro, i did that but then i got a new problem. what ifuser will not reply anything? Thank you thou
b
If the user doesn't reply anything, the chat simply won't continue
You can set a timeout to automatically end the chat
f
Oh hows that?
That is fucking amazing
How can make it in Timeout?

Click the icon in the top left corner, chatbot settings and you'll se a timeout setting. Choose the time you prefer, after that duration of inactivity the chat will automatically end

Appreciate you🙏
@brainy-summer-1041 there is one more problem man I have created a chatbot where customers chat with cb and then via Calendly they choose time. How can I add to a chatbot's database or knowledge base information about availability of time?
b
My suggestion is just sending the calendly link, so the user will check the availability himself I'm not sure if there's a way to check within Botpress
f
Okay
