I clicked remove, and it broke things. There is still the KB and it works everywhere except my embedded web version. heres what i have tried to debug. 1. delete, and re enter the KB 2. duplicate bot none of these fixed the issue.

If so, make sure to hit: remove documents.

WHY DO I GET THIS ERROR MESSAGE: THERE ARE X DOCUMENTS IN THE DATABASE WHICH ARE NOT USED IN YOUR KNOWLEDGE BASES. THEY MAY AFFECT YOUR BOT’S ANSWERS? Please note that what you’re seeing is not an error, but rather a warning. It typically occurs when you import a different bot. For instance, if you create a bot and upload 10 documents, those documents will be stored in the documents’ database. However, if you then upload a different bot, those documents no longer exist in the new bot, yet they remain in the documents’ database, and your published bot will continue to answer questions using those documents.  Clicking the button essentially means “Please go ahead and synchronize my documents.” This warning is just to alert you before deleting any documents. If you choose to remove the documents, it will affect the bot’s responses, even if the bot has not been published. If you no longer need the documents, feel free to delete them.

Documents
database separate from the
Knowledge Base
? I was initially having a problem because I was making changes to the KB and they were not being used. old versions were being referenced in the
turn.KnowledgeAgent.citations
I tried deleting the KB and re creating one and that didnt help. So i tried hitting Remove Documents from the pop up. Now, even though i have a KB in my bots dashboard, and it answers questiosn if im in the dashboard. it will not load answers from the KB at all in the web version.
Also the 37 documents went up to almost 100. when i wasnt making any changes. there is definitely something going on.
as a last resort. Im building a new bot from scratch and am getting the same error.

As long as i dont click "Remove Documents" it works on the webchat.

people said, it needs 10-15mins for knowledge base to update, idk myself, I am testing non stop 😄 I always remove documents. I have separate workspace for testing. You can have 5 workscapes for free, so maybe separate tests?

@crooked-van-25152 Yes, It completely lost access to the KB even though there was a KB in the dashboard. This is a major bug. I can give you my bots ID if you want to look into it. Is there a way to view the Documents database separate from the Knowledge Base?

were you able to transfer over the workflow?
I know the KB was an issue
also, what format was your kB?

With transferring the workflow. I did not export/import the old bot because i think that is waht caused the issue initially. so i built it from scratch. KB was web and text documents
