The postback action works only in the Webchat and WhatsApp at the moment afaik

04/23/2024, 9:54 AMI do sympathize with your use case but unfortunately there is no solution for webchat v1. Hopefully we will get an update soon since it's indeed a much needed feature.
For now I recommend to either demo inside the cloud developer window or use an additional dropdown list that matches your carousel (so the carousel card is only used to display Images).
