Bot struggling to answer when not used for a while

hi guys, i just realized that my published bot was struggling when it was not used for a while, it looks like the bot was sleeping and need few seconds to "wake up" until it's ready to answer. each time it happens, I just refresh the page and the bot is back is his best shape. any way I could fix that ? thanks a lot
f
Hey there, You are completely right, it is "sleeping" when its not being used, and then it has to wake up again. You can purchase the "Always Alive" feature for $5, which will make it so that the bot is always ready to answer your questions
b
ok great, i bought it this morning but still have this issue 😦
b
Decay is right! to reduce the cost of running your bot and make Botpress free to use, we don't reserve compute instances for you across conversations, i.e. the thing that's powering your bot
if Always Alive is enabled on your bot, you should see a reduction in the time to response on that first message
f
Can you verify that you have enabled it on the desired bot?
b
yes it is
f
Then I will let Robert take over 🙂
b
Ok, thanks a lot 🙂
b
if it's enabled, can you show me a video of the bot taking a long time to respond?
b
I dont have a video because i can't really re create this bug on demand
but here is my logs
i get this 60 sec TO that i never face, only when bot is waking up
usually it takes like, 15-20secs
which is ok for my usecase
any update ?
still face the issue this morning

I think i'll have to stop using the service without your help, just spent 100+ dollars in 2 days, if anyone want to try to save us before we leave the boat this afternoon feel free
b
can you show me how your bot is built? i.e. the nodes that are experiencing this delay
b
yes, there it is
b
can you confirm for me if this issue still happens when using a regular knowledge base answer on a capture card, and not the "Query Knowledge Bases" card?
