Hello, Everyone. I am developing a Internal staff chatbot for policy related queries for a client. The staff site is a intranet website, I've uploaded the policies in the KB in a doc format and provided the URL for the specific policies in Rich text. After asking a Query , the chatbot answers with a hyperlink, but upon clicking it redirects to a non-existent page. Also, tried indexing the website, but it didn't work How can I add the URL/Link in KB for the intranet website, so it directs me to the proper page. Any suggestions/ help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot for that Informative tutorial Decay, My main concern is that my bot provides the link which are not from the intranet but from the world wide web. Is it because the URL links are hosted on Intranet and Botpress cannot add it in the knowledge base or the bot is not able to provide the proper link to the specific policy.

I don't think that it can read the policies from the documents and then use them. Maybe a @User has done something like this before

Have it search specific webpages rather than ingesting it

Try making different KBs and only select the appropriate one for that search

I had similar issues and solved them by instructing the AI to follow orders better and creating a new knowledge base for each user automatically before every chat. Hey, Goose thanks for the reply. Although my issue here is that the website I want to add to my knowledge base is an organisational website which cannot be accessed from the general internet. I am having trouble ingesting this intranet website in the knowledge base. Are there any firewall restrictions in place? Not sure if that has been asked or not.
