Hi, I've applied for a new WhatsApp display name, and Meta has approved it. It says I need to register the number again, which I suppose should be done on Botpress. How do I do that?

Nothing to be done in Botpress Goto https://business.facebook.com/wa/manage/ Account Tools => Phone Number You will have an edit icon, when you hover mouse over the Name (assuming you have only one phone Number here). Edit and change the name

It’s done and approved by Meta. But there’s a note written there saying that I need to register the number again in order for the newly approved Display Name to show. Now it is still showing the old one

Check if the new name reflects on WhatsApp, if it does, ignore the message

That’s the issue, it’s not reflecting otherwise I wouldn’t be asking. It keeps saying the new name will only be displayed once the number is registered again

grrr... ok, there are two things you can try. And mind it, with META it is always a try to succeed. 1. Edit the name again to save it and see if that works 2. Delete the number, wait for 10 mins and add the number again There will be no impact to the bot or the WA bussiness App. A slight possibility would be that your phone number id in the developer apps may change if you delete and add the number again. Verify and if there is a change, update it in botpress and you are good to go I really cannot think of another way to solve this

I have tries this in the past to move the number from one account to another and it has worked. but use your best judgement
