- provide recommendations of products based on what they’re asking
- be able to allow users to add these items to their basket directly from the bot
- offer upsells and cross sells based on what they added to their basket
Can this be done inside botpress or would it require extra coding ?

07/17/2023, 5:17 AMI'm interested in Shopify integration as well. It seems there are some particular ways you need to set up that integration, I think you need a separate custom Shopify app hosted for that but let me know what you find.

Luckily Shopify has a few great APIs- I like their Storefront API (https://shopify.dev/docs/api/storefront) and their Ajax API (https://shopify.dev/docs/api/ajax). Both APIs are able to do things like search products, fetch recommendations, add to and take from a cart.
