I’m a bit of a newbie at this but super excited to learn. I’m wondering if there is a way to connect the an e-commerce product catalogue as a knowledge base and have the Chatbot link to specific product recommendations with an image and a link to the product? Thanks!

Yes, but not in realtime if using the knowledge base feature. Basically, you would need to export your product catalog as a document and then manually upload it to your bot as a KB source. If you need in real time then at the moment AFAIK the only way would be creating an API that has access to your product catalog and retrieving recommendations from it by calling it in an Execute Code card in your bot flow and then displaying the results.
