Hi all, need some urgent help with this. My KB has been working fine for about 2 weeks up until the last 5 days. My knowledge base is not returning any answers. i am getting this error: 14:43:43errorError generating answer for KB [AxiosError: Request failed with status code 500]

hey @freezing-carpenter-9818 I have a few questions is this still the case ? were you getting this for the past 5 days consistently or it's happening here and there ? Is it still the same whenever you publish your bot ? or is it only in the studio ? Are you getting the same issue with new chatbots ?

Its a constant issue for the last 5 days. everything has been working perfectly before as discusses with many of the botpress team there was an issue before it it got solved and now its this issue. the flow has not changed, ive tried publising, diconnecting nodes and reconnecting, ive tried turning of the KB and turning it back on for the node. for some reason the only answer it finds is regards to contact details: "how can i contact you". Thats literally the only question is can answer after so much testing. Yet it still doesnt answer the question very well.

Well this is another issue. It's GPT that hallucinates. We can do different things to scope it down 🙂 let's stick to the 500 error instead as this is sure coming from our systems

By the way @curved-traffic-50479 IMO you sure use the table feature for that. We are about to release dynamic natural language queries, we can discuss it in another topic if you want 🙂

@rich-battery-69172 please can you weigh in here because the instability of the KBs is getting out of control. The KB is probably the most important thing in botpress as it can directly affect business enquiries, its so vital for most bots. We have had so many different problems now with the Kb over a short period of time. I feel as though i have to constantly check to see if things are working which i really dont have time to do.

If you are ok on sharing your bot, you can export it and send it to me so I can help you figure out what is the culprit. If you are not OK (totally fine) I'll find some other way to help you

i removed the the "provide context to kb" which was automattically added by your team: Summary of the conversation: """ {{conversation.SummaryAgent.summary}} """ Transcript: """ {{conversation.SummaryAgent.transcript}} """
after removing the provide contect to kb it seems to be working, any ideas on how to get it to work with the contect added?

I'm glad you found a way yourself. If the results are satisfying, feel free to leave it this way. You can also change the provided context to anything you want. As mentioned I have no issue with any of my chatbots and there is no ongoing major incidents with KBs at this time. So I can't help you much unless you share your content with me. You could also share me your BotID, that would help as well 🙂

@curved-traffic-50479 i think if you was to put each apartment in its own KB with full descriptions of the proeprty it would work much better. Or to put the data into tables, however i havent used that feature as of it so i couldnt help

i did everything in kb bro i have big list of apartments it gave me wrong answers. But @witty-football-93730 said its from GPT that hallucinates. What other different things can we do it to scope it down, would table fix the issue to get more accurate answers? if yeah how? @witty-football-93730 any tips or recommendation are welcomed 🙂
i guess the new feature dynamic natral language queries will solve the issue in long term right ? is there any short term solution?

I get the same error. Which type of KB you recommend to use? Is some of them safer to use than others?

have you tried removing the "provide context to kb" field?

that's ok mate, i know you are a busy guy... i currently dont have any errors or problems with the kb since removing the provide context
