is there a way to stop the kb answering multiple choice questions. i am trying to allow the user to ask question sand answer questions at the same time but the kb is just spitting out extensive paragraphs every time a multiple choice question is answered

Is the Knowledge answering enable on that node? that might be causing this. If that doesn't work, send a screenshot of your flow and let's see what's going on

So i will rexplain but better. i do need the KB answering turned on as i want it to be able to answer user questions at any point. this works by just putting the KB answering on but this will make the KB answer the users multiple choice answers. that is what i dont want, the answering of multiple choice questions.

you might benefit from enabling "answer manually" on your knowledge agent, this will stop it from interupting questions to answer. However you will need to then implement logic to check for an answer and then tell the answer to the user.
