Bot inside a <div> on my website is getting stuck

I've embeded a bot on my website, but it gets stuck after the first GPT message. I used this format to do it: https://botpress.com/docs/developers/webchat/embedding-webchat-options/bot-in-div/ The initial "Hi there! Are you ready to start learning?" is a welcome message sent by bot press and the second "Fantastic! I'm thrilled to have you (...)" is the first one sent by GPT. After responding to that, the bot gets stuck. The same thing is also happening when I test the bot using the share link from bot press. Here's the link: https://mediafiles.botpress.cloud/b3b89bc5-3405-461e-8b4c-e2f71f53fa71/webchat/bot.html When I configured the bot last week, this wasn't the case. It was working fine. I've tried to switch the models to see if that helps, but no luck. Now I'm using GPT 3.5 Turbo 16k 0613. Why is this happening? Thank you!
g
Have you tried answering a second time english(2 times in a row ?
t
yeah
no luck
@glamorous-guitar-39983 could this be a problem on botpress's end? or do you reckon something is misconfigured?
@fresh-fireman-491 any chance you know why this is happening?
f
Hey there Could you share a screenshot of your workflow?

@fresh-fireman-491 😜 “whats in the box? ..more boxes oh “
t

@fresh-fireman-491 still no luck 😞
f
Does it throw any errors in the logs
t
request times out
or for example if not in my website but on botpress preview it also gets stuck here. will eventually time out I believe
f
Try and connect the start node
And disconnect the trigger
t
@fresh-fireman-491 like this? it's still stuck here (after the first message)
f
Have you published the bot after disconnecting?
t
yeah now its just stuck on a loop
f
Seems like an issue from OpenAI. Do you have a specific need for their Assistant?
t
yeah using this for an interactive workshop
f
Assistants are not really my kind of expertise. Maybe a @User knows this?
t
Thanks @fresh-fireman-491 appreciate you. @User would be great if you could help me figure this out 🙏

Hii @tall-battery-29998 , Have you customised your Chat-GPT?? If yes... maybe that can be a reason... I'm not sure.
t
@icy-cpu-68448 hey good morning! What do you mean? I am using an assistant with a customised prompt, yes
i
Good evening @tall-battery-29998 , I mean have you customised your OpenAI ChatGPT??
t
Where is this? @icy-cpu-68448

# Sending a Problem Report Here's how to send the Botpress Team a problem report: 1. In the Botpress Cloud Studio, locate the "Help" icon in the bottom left corner of the screen. 2. Click "Report a problem" and follow the steps on the screen. 3. Copy the Report ID to your clipboard and provide it to a member of the Botpress Team on Discord.
t
Thanks @famous-jewelry-85388 appreciate it
Here's the report ID - report_01HSVPBVF28HT50VN8HDCPT18A
I'll DM you now
m
probably not helpful, but I now you have to find a way to continue the same thread with an openai assistant and make sure ti doesnt start a new thread each time.
f
The template uses tables for that. I think she is using Botpress template already
t
Thanks @famous-jewelry-85388 it's working fine now. In my flow I had a Conversation Started trigger followed by a Welcome Message, and only then the Index - that was causing the bot to get stuck after the first API call. To solve it, we reconnected the Start to the Index (reverting the base template) -> connected the Conversation Started trigger to the Welcome Message I want to show - Connected that to the End https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1214204658176888852/1222985980508897352/Screenshot_2024-03-28_at_20.05.50.png?ex=66183573&is=6605c073&hm=e98a98e2b5b2768a442e44af1d21879c5052645b206ba29bd31f090ae0f9c6cb&
