New to Botpress. I am not able to set a session variable. The docs make it sound straight forward but it doesn't allow me? I tried using both

event.state.session.testVar = "testValue"

and

session.testVar = "testValue

but no luck. Anyone able to point in the right direction? Am I missing something? Any help is greatly appreciated!

As far as I know, session variables aren't back, and it's just the agents using them. I would recommend you to watch this video

After watching the video I think it reiterates what I've been reading. Can I ask what you might mean by just the agents using them? When were session variables taken off?

I am sorry, I can see that it does. I got told they had been taken off a while ago, it was 01/31/24 I think. Maybe @crooked-van-25152 can help us here, or knows who can?
