Hey, guys. With whom I can discuss the process of paying for services as providing AI chat bots. I don't really understand the payment process in Botpress, I want to understand how to pay, what to pay for, so I can explain it in detail to the client. Where can I see the price for paying for services, etc. In general, I want to know all such information so that I can predict the amount I will be requesting from my client. Is there anyone here who can chat with me on this topic and explain it in detail?

We are working on a new pricing

Hey @crooked-van-25152
c
you must have already seen this page on our website
we hope to have the new pricing live in the upcoming weeks.
I unfortunately can't share more about pricing, as nothing is live yet but I might challenge you with some questions to help you with your client.
Here are a few points to think about when you’ll charge your customer:
a
For example, I build the chat bot for the client oh their behalf and they use this bot oh their website, how and what they will be billed for. Second example, if I build a bot on my account and ask for a one time setup fee, and then offer them a maintenance package on a "bill by usage" payment how do I bill them, where can I watch this etc?
ok, go on)))
c
Complexity of the bot: A simple FAQ bot requires less effort compared to a sophisticated AI-driven bot capable of executing complex tasks. 🙂
*Development time: * More time-intensive projects should be priced higher!
Customization & features: If the bot requires custom features or integration with existing systems, this adds to the development effort and so I think it should be reflected in the price. Especially if Botpress doesn’t support out of the box the integrations your customer is looking for.
**Maintenance & support: **Will you be in charge of maintenance? If so, think about including the cost of ongoing maintenance, updates, and support.
I would talk with people who have experience building and selling bots.
But know that you could always build the bot on their account (add yourself as collaborator: developer), that way they get billed. And you can bill them on top of that (one time fee for building the bot & potentially a monthly fee if they require maintenant and support).
This is just an idea 🙂
If you're planning on building many bots, I would consider applying here: https://botpress.com/become-a-partner
a
yeah, I had that sort of ideas. I just don't really understand the price the will be charged for using the bot (except my price of building one)
c
Also, I believe if you are using the paid plan, you have access to multiple workspace, where each workspace can have its payment method.
a
currently I'm just playing around and want to know the payment process to provide that as a service
c
Got it!
Well, stay tuned because we should release our new pricing soon.
