Try @workflow.answer.text
In the text card where you have 
@workflow.answer

I integrated the bot on whastapp. The conversation is fine when I do it with the bot. But on whastapp, I still get "text" thing
Could you please help me out with that?

You can try and hit publish
You have to do that every time you want a change you made in the studio to also be in the integrations.

Decay, I also integrated messenger. It's all set up with at the bottom is asking me for some permissions that I can do only if I am verified. Is is possible to have the botpress chatbot in messenger without a verified account?

I am not sure. My dev account got banned, so I haven't used it since. You c an try and create a new help post about that, and someone with more knowledge than me can help you
