No Flow Id Provided error
# 🤝help

Hey guys this error just keeps popping up on several bots. The error says "An unexpected error occurred. [Error, No flow ID provided . Flow: N/A | Node: N/A. This error should not happen unless your conversation is in a corrupted state (eg. in progress on an older version of the chatbot). To reset your conversational manually, say "//state/reset" to your chatbot to force the state to reset. If this error persists, please contact support.]" I cant move on with any of my projects because this error persists with the ai task cards 😔 report_01J33VTW9GERP8RKRGRM3QYD6H

Is this error still persisting?
b
Yes...I'm having the exact error in my bot, today, July 19th, 8:30am (EST)
f
And have you tried what the error message told you to do?
b
yes, I did...issue "//state/reset" command, bot replies "SUCCESS: State Reset", and the same error still happens
f
b
So, what are my options? As there is no information from botpress informing when this will be fixed, and there is no other channel to get support, my (and others) only option is to waitm, without official feedback nor a proper timeline?
Update: as the bot was working fine inside the Studio, I republished it several times, and now it seems to be working, not sure if one thing (republishing it) is related to the other.
f
Seems like they pushed a fix
b
Could be....either case, the fix is not working consistently, sometimes it works, but the next minute it doesn't, showing the same error in the log (no flow id provided)
f
we are experiencing this same issue for the first time today
@bumpy-butcher-41910 is there any update on this for us all? seems like quite a few people getting this same error
f
Does it happen on all of your bots?
b
I have one bot published and in (very light) use, sorry
f
No worries 🙂 Can you try to make another bot to see if you can recreate it?
b
As this is happening to other people and not only me, I honestly don't see the point of creating another bot. I would agree with you to do so if I were the only one with this issue, but being this something that a) happens intermittently b) to different people , it seems to me this is something botepress should address without us, user, lift the load
b
what would be helpful is the conditions under which this occurs - it's difficult to diagnose an intermittent issue with no clear cause
official feedback and dedicated support are offered to paying customers - this server exists for the community to troubleshoot issues together
b
Robert, I understand that...thing is, when you say paying customers, that is something your company should think about a mid tier...it makes no sense for me, e.g. to pay for 20 bots, etc, when I only have one bot in use, just to get support....a mid tier, or an add-on (like the add-on I pay for Always Alive), would be good...I'm not trying to get support for free, the problem is that there is no way for someone like me, with my use case, to get support. I'm grateful for the community support, but sometimes we need someone inside botpress to take matters in their hands. Thanks for your understanding.
