How Do you delete a variable?

Click on the variable in the main inspector panel, then hit the trash can icon in the upper right of the popup.

Ah ok I see, would it not be pertinent to have some kind of variables manager on the explorer on the left pane?

I believe we do? That's what the little buttons are for. But if there's a better way, our designers are listening over at #1115386631214616737
