My Knowledge Base answers are too long... any idea...

Right now, when my chatbot is answering the user's questions using the knowledge base, it is spitting out paragraphs of info at a time. I'd like to be able to limit the number of characters its response can be. Does anybody know how to accomplish this?
i think you can catch the response using one of the agents to shorten it
personality agent, you could say something like you are short and succinct and keep it to 140 characters or something like that
